LTE 4G Smartphones at CES 2012

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is considered as one of the largest annual gatherings of electronics and gadgetry technology from all over the world. It is a much awaited celebration of the latest and upcoming electrical components in the market. Mobile phones and mobile applications are one of the most anticipated features at CES. Big players like Samsung, Nokia, Apple and HTC are all battling for mobile and smartphone supremacy at the CES and visitors are definitely in for a treat.

 

Nokia is expected to bring in the big guns this year, and especially after a long absence, it’s time for the former powerhouse to break its silence by launching its latest mobile phone the Nokia Ace. The handset is Nokia’s first Windows phone and is expected to rival with Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy which are currently dominating the mobile market. The Nokia Ace, otherwise known as the Lumia 900, promises to give its competitors a run for their money with its 4.3 inch WVGA display and 4G LTE compatibility. Although slightly similar to the Lumia 800, the 900 is definitely packed with all the perks of a great smart phone and is of course a 4G handset.

 

Other top mobile players include HTC with its Titan II – A phone that is also expected to make a huge entrance running on Windows 7.5, Mango OS and LTE support connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy Note – Another LTE 4G offering, however the main difference being that it sits somewhere between a tablet and smartphone thanks to its 146.9 x 83 x 9.7mm dimensions. The handset also includes a revolutionary S pen allowing users to design and develop their own creative ideas in photos and the device’s display giving “interactive” a whole new meaning. Motorola also flexes a little muscle at CES2012 with its Droid Razr Maxx – Yet again another LTE 4G offering with an enormous 3300 mAh battery which equates to 21 hours of talk time or approximately 8 movies in High Def!

 

CES 2012 is definitely the ultimate gathering for go go gadget nerds and smartphone enthusiasts alike, or for people who are just looking for a great place to see what’s on the cards this year 1in the realm of electronics. As the industry saying goes, if you can’t find it on CES, you probably wouldn’t find it anywhere else.
