Sony Ericsson Aino Video Review - Multimedia

The Sony Ericsson Aino is a great media-centric device which offers a great selection of applications including the highly acclaimed Remote play and Media home.

Remote play allows the device to be connected to a PlayStation 3, not only allowing your PS3 media content to be directly streamed to your mobile, giving you access to pictures, videos and music that’s stored on your console, but also the handset can be used as a remote control to operate the PS3 home menu without the need of controller. However don’t expect to be playing games with your phone, controls are unfortunately limited to the PS3 home menu.

Media home on the other hand takes connectivity one step further by utilising DLNA to allow for full connectivity with other DNLA enabled devices such as laptops, TV’s and other phones over WI-FI. Pictures or videos that you have shot on the Aino can be directly streamed to your TV with a simple push of a button.
