Sony Ericsson W705 Physical Specification Review Video
Appearance wise the Sony Ericsson W705 is a stylish slide-out little number, the front and side casing of the phone is finished off in brushed aluminium and subtle details and edgings are picked out in gold. The back cover is constructed from a weird rubberised plastic which despite our initiate reluctance to like it actual grow on us as we spent more time with the phone, the back also houses a 3.2 megapixel camera and a respectable loud speaker.
For those that might worry about a phone pocket bulge, no need to worry the W705 is extremely pocket friendly measuring in at only 98 mm tall, 47.5 mm wide and 14.3 deep. While we are on the topic of size the front panel of the phone is dominated by a 2.4 inch display, when you hear 2.4 you naturally wouldn’t associate the size with the term dominate, but due to the phones petite size the screen truly looks huge on it.
The built in accelerometer, allows for some nifty features, not only will it flip the display between portrait and landscape when rotating , but place the phone in your packet while you go for a walk and it will count your steps, it also allows the ability to change audio tracks with a shake.
