Nokia Phones to Get Face Unlock

Though Nokia is only a couple of months removed from their most recent mobile phone releases, it seems that the HMD Global company are not quite satisfied with the final offerings. Nokia has announced via a Tweet reply that they will be launching a facial identification software update for a range of their phones "in the coming months".

Considering that Apple's iPhone X and Samsung's Galaxy S9 mobile devices both launched with their own facial identification technology, it is better late than never for Nokia to implement updates to their phones in order to make them feel a little bit more secure.

The phones in question that will be receiving the update will be the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 and the Nokia 8 Sirocco.
