Samsung's New Mid-Tier Phone: Galaxy A8

Samsung has added a new phone to their Galaxy family of mobile devices with the Samsung Galaxy A8. 

The Galaxy A8 is a mid-tier mobile device that comes with a 5.6 inch Super AMOLED full high definition display. 

Powered by the Samsung Exynos 7885 Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy A8 comes in two storage sizes: the smaller 32GB or the larger 64GB of internal storage. There is a microSD slot for expandable storage also.

Unlike the Samsung S9, the A8 runs the older Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, however it still contains many of the same features such as a fast charging battery as well as being I68 water and dust resistant.

The A8 also features two front-facing cameras, a 16 megapixel and an 9 megapixel, as well as a 16 megapixel camera on the rear.

Samsung's latest offering comes in two colours: black or grey, and it is currently retailing for $649 on the Samsung Australia store, as well as JB Hi-Fi and other selected retailers.
