LG GD900 Crystal Video Review - Physical Specifications

The Crystal is without a doubt an eye catchy device and it’s guaranteed to turn a few heads. From the word go it can clearly be seen that LG has put a lot of thought into the design and feel of the phone. The handset is reasonable light and sets remarkably comfortably in the palm of your hand, despite the fact the most of the phones weight being located in the touch-screen element.

The handset feels solid and sturdy- despite the fact that it’s almost entirely constructed from plastic, the only exceptions being the slide out transparent touch pad which is glass, and a thin metal boarder. Usually when it comes to sliders the slider elements are the least sturdy, however this is not the case with the Crystal, and in fact the slider is the sturdiest element on the phone. Without the glass touchpad the GD900 might have come across feeling a tad light and cheap – but thankfully the glass touch pad not only adds class and elegance, but also some much needed weight for comfort and useability.
