The results are in from the Antennagate class-action lawsuit that has essentially forced Apple to either pay $15 in cash (cheque), or provide a free Bumper case to every iPhone 4 customer in the United States.
This decision comes as a result of the Apple iPhone 4 launch back in 2010, when respective users were made aware of a fault with the handset that caused significant signal interference and phone calls to fully drop out. A quick fix by users at the time involved covering the side strip around the outside of the phone which helped rectify the problem.
Current Apple iPhone 4S customers can breathe a sigh of relief as this fault was fixed in this model which witnessed a complete overhaul on the antenna system.
