Here are five things to watch on Foxtel this week, as we welcome back a hit TV show.
The long-awaited third season of True Detective is here with a brand new thrilling crime case. Spanning across three different time periods, Arkansas detective Wayne Hays and his partner, Roland West, will investigate and try to solve the case of two children who disappeared. The time jumps will explore the crime investigation itself from 1980, with a major break in the case in 1990, and a retired Hays assisting a true-crime documentary with their own investigation into the cold case.
Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff stars as the two main detectives, Wayne Hays and Roland West, respectively. Known for playing Cyborg in DC's Cinematic Universe, Ray Fisher stars as Wayne's son, Henry. Carmen Ejogo plays an Arkansas teacher who is related to the case of the missing children and Scoot McNairy rounds out the main cast as Tom, a distraught father.
